On February 8th, the Automotive Cluster of Guanajuato (CLAUGTO) successfully held its Business Networking event in the municipality of Silao. The meeting featured the prominent participation of over 130 supplier companies and the presence of 17 buyers from Tier 1 and Tier 2 companies, establishing a conducive space to strengthen commercial relationships and promote the growth of the automotive industry in the state of Guanajuato.

The participation of the Mayor of Silao, Carlos García, added a significant component to the event by highlighting the strategic importance of the automotive industry in the development of the municipality. Carlos García praised the commitment of the Automotive Cluster of Guanajuato in driving local economic progress and emphasized the industry's vital contribution to the region's economy.

CLAUGTO's director, Alfredo Arzola, shared valuable insights derived from the recent mission in Las Vegas, specifically at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024. Alfredo highlighted the dynamism and revolution in the automotive industry, pointing out that companies in the sector showcased notable innovations, particularly emphasizing electromobility and the transition towards it as key elements for the industry's future.

Guanajuato was recognized as a fundamental pillar in the automotive industry not only in Mexico but also globally, solidifying itself as a hub for innovation and sustainable growth in the sector. The shared vision of making the automotive industry a collaborative community was reaffirmed during the event, reflected in the motto #SoyCLAUGTO.
