With the aim of fostering commercial relationships and boosting the automotive industry in the state of Guanajuato, the second edition of the 2024 Business Networking CLAUGTO took place, with the municipality of Irapuato serving as the venue and host. This edition saw the participation of 16 buyers and 120 supplier companies, with a central focus on generating business opportunities.

The event was presided over by Froylán Salas Navarro, Undersecretary of Development for Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises of the Ministry of Sustainable Economic Development; Héctor Muñoz Krieger, Director of Economy and Tourism of Irapuato; and Alfredo Arzola López, Director of CLAUGTO.

During the welcome speech, Héctor Muñoz Krieger highlighted that Irapuato ranks second in automotive parts exports in the state.

On the other hand, Froylán Salas Navarro, Undersecretary of Development for Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MiPyME), emphasized the presence of leading companies in the state and the importance of events like this to facilitate the exchange of ideas and business, as well as the emergence of new local enterprises.

"It's essential to continue advancing in the economic dynamics of Guanajuato's business ecosystem, and this event is a clear example of that integration," he stated.

The program included the keynote address 'Adaptation and Learning: Essential Keys for Professional Success and Value Creation,' delivered by Ana Gabriela Vázquez, a buyer from Pirelli. Additionally, two networking sessions were held with the aim of strengthening bonds and connections within the CLAUGTO community.

The CLAUGTO 2024 Business Networking event consolidates itself as a key space for fostering synergies, exchanging knowledge, and creating business opportunities within the automotive sector of Guanajuato.
