Strengthening the Automotive Cluster Project in Mexico

Yesterday, at the Government Palace located in downtown Aguascalientes, the Excellence Awards ceremony took place on
Kaizen.

This event is part of the conclusion of the fifth stage of the project
binational Mexico-Japan project aimed at strengthening the automotive cluster in Mexico, with the objective of promoting continuous improvement in the sector.


The ceremony's main purpose was to recognize companies
from the four participating states (Querétaro, Aguascalientes, San Luis Potosí, and
Guanajuato) who successfully carried out their Kaizen projects using the QC Story methodology during the fifth stage. Additionally, the Kaizen advisors trained throughout the five stages of the project were
introduced.


We want to highlight and congratulate in particular the companies KASAI and MAQUITEC, whose
We also recognize the effort and excellent work done by the Guanajuato-based companies participating in the year 2023: Arbomex, G-Tekt, G-One, Hirotec, Kasai, Kostal Komex 2, Maquitec, MYPI, Pec de México, Yorozu, and Sannohashi.

We are pleased to have been part of this significant event and to coincide with representatives from the participating companies, state government officials, automotive cluster associations, experts and executives from JICA, members of AMEXCID, and the Consul of Japan in Mexico.


At the end of the award ceremony, we concluded this project in its fifth and
final stage with the JICA experts, presenting a report of results, showcasing the
achievements, and signing of agreements.
