We are delighted to share the experience gained during the development of the "Business Case Workshop and Strategies for the Implementation of Industry 4.0 Technologies", which took place last week. This workshop is part of the first stage of the project "Technology Adoption Program in Industry 4.0 for Automotive Manufacturing Companies."

The main objective of this project was to benefit Guanajuato-based companies by providing them with the necessary tools and methodologies to assess the feasibility of implementing technologies aimed at improving their processes and increasing productivity. It is important to highlight that this project is part of the "Science and Innovation for the Valley of Manufacturing Guanajuato" program, specifically under the "Manufacturing Mind" modality and its sub-modality, "International Connection of Science." In this regard, we express our gratitude to IDEA Gto for their trust and support in this initiative.

It was gratifying to witness the active participation of 6 companies from the state of Guanajuato in this workshop, namely: Continental, Denso, Hope Global, Oshkosh, Schnellecke, and VCST.

The workshop content focused on the process of designing and defining technical, economic, policy, timing, evaluation, and presentation parameters for a business case for the implementation of technologies in the manufacturing processes of the participating companies.

We express our sincere gratitude to the 23 participants from the companies for their active participation and valuable contribution, which enriched each session. We also extend our thanks to the 8 students from DICIS for their support in facilitating the documentation generated during the workshop.
