Plenary session of the Supplier Committee

The CLAUGTO Suppliers Committee held its plenary session virtually on April 25. These sessions provide a space to share new projects and address industry challenges.

During this session, we welcomed two new affiliated companies: STYC, which offers services in the transportation of various supplies, corporate gifts, industrial maintenance, and general construction, and SMC, a company specializing in pneumatic and electromechanical automation.

We also presented the latest update to the CLAUGTO Automotive Glossary. This glossary was created to meet the needs of companies entering the automotive industry, as they often encounter a world filled with daily terminologies unimaginable for an SME in its development or maturation phase.

This glossary includes terminology commonly used in areas such as:

  • Purchases
  • Projects
  • Production floor
  • Human Resources

Additionally, the final registration deadlines for the Prointegrity Program were shared. This program, conducted by USAID, is a technical cooperation project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Its goal is to foster a fairer, more transparent, and competitive business and investment environment in Mexico through the design and adoption of transparency and integrity standards and practices.

Finally, we had a presentation from Mayan Corporate Catering, where Montserrat Origel, Quality and Food Safety Manager, shared their experience with coaching, the implementation timeline, and the benefits they gained from the assigned coaches. Their journey has become a benchmark for the industry.

Let’s continue building an industry community that collaborates. #SoyCLAUGTO
