On April 25th, the Design Session for Regulatory Challenges in Guanajuato with USAID took place.
USAID is a technical cooperation project funded by the United States Agency for International Development. Aligned with the anti-corruption chapter of the USMCA (T-MEC in Spanish), its objective is to improve the investment environment by strengthening transparency and integrity standards in Mexico. This is done in synergy with public authorities, the private sector, civil society, and organizations.
During this session, discussions revolved around the main challenges and barriers regarding regulations and procedures that currently exist. The aim was to propose a design and implementation of reforms to promote investment in priority sectors such as the automotive industry. Primarily involving key actors from the public, private, governmental, and social sectors, who will support with proposals and experiences through working groups for the implementation of actions that promote investment, attract new companies, and facilitate their startup and operation.
These workspaces will continue to be held for monitoring and developing the issue at hand, seeking to continue providing support to CLAUGTO companies for more agile paperwork management and triggering expansions of their companies with greater agility.
