At WeWire Mexico, we specialize in plastic injection and manufacturing ABS harnesses for leading German and North American OEMs such as Mercedes Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Tesla, and Ford. The company is a business unit belonging to the Coroplast Group, which was founded in Germany over 90 years ago, with its headquarters located in Wuppertal, Germany. Throughout its history, the company has been dedicated to the manufacturing of technical tapes, cables, plastic injection parts, and harnesses. 

One of the company's objectives for 2022 is to develop an innovation team focused on projects throughout North America, with the purpose of diversifying to serve other industries besides automotive and within the automotive industry, other sectors that they have not yet explored.

By the end of the first quarter, they will have established several projects, with serial production set to begin by late this year and early 2023. Additionally, they are already starting with the establishment of a local research and development team to address the needs of their new and potential customers.

Enrique Schuckman, General Director of WeWire Mexico, explained that during 2021 they implemented over 10 new projects with clients such as Ford, Rivian, and Lucid, and the outlook for 2022 is very positive.

The company has both a global and a local team for Automation and Process Development, where they design the equipment to be used in their production processes. Previously, several of the products had a manual manufacturing process, but nowadays, with the equipment developed and patented by the group, they can produce ABS harnesses automatically practically from start to finish.
