Last week, we visited Innovatec and the Industrial Innovation Center of the Mentefactura Valley (CIIVM), both located at Tecnológico de Celaya Campus II. During the tour, we had the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of their services and capabilities, which include:

• Product engineering design
• Reverse engineering
• Additive manufacturing
• Inspection metrology

These centers aim to support companies in the automotive sector by generating technology, offering specialized training, technical services, and rental of specialized equipment. Their strategic location and accessibility allow them to provide quick solutions to the needs of the sector, representing a considerable benefit for regional companies.

We extend our gratitude to the Instituto Tecnológico de Celaya and Celaya’s Economic Development office for inviting us to visit these facilities. We also want to highlight the value of exchanging experiences with representatives from companies such as Arbomex, GKN, Grupo GPA, VCST, IDEA Gto., and CIATEC, who also participated in this enriching event and are part of the advisory group for the innovation and technology pillar of the Operational Excellence Committee.
