On Wednesday, September 27th, the Asset Security Symposium, organized by the associations ALAS, ASIS, and CLAUGTO, gathered experts and professionals from the automotive industry to discuss and reflect on the challenges and advances in security matters.

One of the highlights of the symposium was the keynote address by Sophia Huett, Executive Secretary of the State Public Security System of Guanajuato. With a palpable passion for asset security, Huett emphasized that there is still a long way to go in achieving comprehensive security in the industry. Her speech served as a powerful invitation to all attendees, both from the automotive industry and the Guanajuato community at large, to report, protect, and prevent, reminding that security is everyone's responsibility.

Beyond protecting assets and material goods, the importance of caring for people and raising standards in security areas was emphasized. Asset security should go beyond mere loss prevention and address the protection of lives and the creation of safe environments.
