The second purchasing committee session of the year took place last Wednesday, June 28th.

The meeting was held virtually, and the main topic of the session was a talk on strategic negotiation given by Miguel Escamilla from Kasai, a member of the CLAUGTO purchasing council. Miguel participated in the Karrass I course and his expertise was deemed of interest to the other buyers in the committee.

A space of great collaboration and participation was generated among everyone, where ideas, doubts, and opinions on this topic were shared. In addition to the negotiation topic, the launch of the Karrass II course was announced, which will be taught on August 17th.

Continuing with the project line, the 'Buyer and Supplier Award' was promoted, encouraging committee participation in these projects, which will be awarded at the Automotive Supply Forum 2023 on September 20th and 21st. The event was also mentioned, highlighting the importance of participating by registering for business appointments where they can express their requirements and meet qualified suppliers.

On the other hand, Cristina Villaseñor from Pirelli, also a member of the CLAUGTO purchasing committee, invited her colleagues along with another committee member, Lorena Hernández from Arcelormittal, through a video invitation to participate in the 'Buyer's Symposium' event taking place in August. Finally, Tania Camacho from NSK gave some farewell words and thanks to the committee.
