Human Capital Committee Session

The past Tuesday, February 28th, the first board session of the Human Capital committee took place.

During the session, there was also a networking activity led by the committee coordinator, Miguel Reyes. Additionally, the law firm Jiménez Hoyos and Reyes Retana provided an interesting talk addressing the context of labor expectations for 2023. In this discussion, they covered regulatory topics that have undergone reforms, such as vacations, profit sharing (PTU), and the legitimization of collective labor agreements.

On the other hand, the "Human Capital Indicators Survey" results were presented. This survey is the most important of the year as it revealed the 2022 results, including salary trends for the current year. It not only showed indicators but also the expectation of salary increases and how inflation and the minimum wage increase are affecting this issue.

Additionally, in this session, PADF participated. They are an association that collaborates with CLAUGTO and provides resources from the US Department of Labor for the implementation of labor reform. PADF offered support to companies that require any type of accompaniment, advice, or training to be prepared for the labor changes that have occurred over the years.

91 Human Capital leaders attended, of which 77 were CLAUGTO associates. Additionally, the Deputy Secretary of Labor Prevision and the Deputy Secretary of Labor Training and Employment were present.
