On Thursday, June 23, 2022, in the city of Irapuato, all members of the council gathered for their first meeting with the new Board of Directors.
This meeting served as the official welcome for the new council members and to identify key action points in the industry.
Emphasizing the main priorities and needs of the automotive industry, which are listed below:
1.- Availability of human resources
2.- Complexity in accompanying labor changes and
Tax-related complexity
3.- High costs in the supply chain
4.- Labor peace
5.- Security
6.- Non-existent infrastructure to support international commitments in reducing carbon footprint (renewable energies)
7.- Increase certainty and synergy with the Federal Government (extensions).
The above are strategic lines of work in which actions will be taken, and the council is prioritizing collaboration and influence through working groups and/or committees.
The committees will soon be informed of the tasks to be executed, as well as the dates, in order to provide solutions regarding the issues identified in the industry at present.
Within a period of 2 weeks, a follow-up meeting will take place, during which the cluster will be consolidating action plans on these topics, knowing that they are of utmost relevance to most cluster members.
