Yesterday marked the inauguration of the 9th edition of the Automotive Supplier Forum. 

The Automotive Supplier Forum is considered the most dynamic forum in Latin America. Its objective is to strengthen supply chains between buying companies and suppliers in the automotive industry in Guanajuato.

As part of the Forum, the 2nd edition of the CLAUGTO Automotive Congress will take place, featuring 9 specialized conferences on topics such as human capital, operational excellence, suppliers, purchasing, and asset security.

The president of the Automotive Cluster of Guanajuato thanked for all the support and trust of the participating companies because thanks to that Guanajuato has become one of the most important states in the sector. He also thanked the authorities who attended the event and after their intervention, the signing of a collaboration agreement between the Automotive Cluster of Guanajuato and the municipalities of León, Silao, and Celaya took place.

Success cases of participating companies were presented, and the Governor of the State of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, mentioned that the Automotive Supplier Forum will impact national trade and that it is an important event for business meetings. Additionally, he reiterated his commitment to CLAUGTO.

"In Guanajuato, we not only manage and solve problems, but we also have a shared vision for the future. The greatest strength of Guanajuato is that we work, shoulder to shoulder, with authorities and entrepreneurs, and together with academia, we are making Guanajuato a model state and setting an example for the country," said the Governor. Additionally, he commented that they are working on a strategy to promote the creation of more opportunities and thus elevate the quality of life.  

The event was presided over by Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, Governor of Guanajuato; Ramón Alfaro Gómez, Secretary of SDES; Alejandra Gutiérrez, Mayor of León; Francisco Javier, Mayor of Celaya; Carlo García Villaseñor, Mayor of Silao; Rolando Alaniz, President of CLAUGTO; Jaime Daniel Baños Kern, President of the Suppliers Committee; Daniel Velázquez, Director of Manufacturing at Kostal Mexico.
