The collaboration of the triple helix between Government, Academia, and Industry consolidates the raison d'être of the cluster, as well as the common understanding of existing priorities. We thank the authorities and the State government for their trust. Below is a brief overview of what happened at the meeting.
On behalf of CLAUGTO, Engineer Rolando Alaniz, President of CLAUGTO and Grupo León, as well as Carlos Talamantes, Plant Manager for Witzenmann, presented the results of the needs assessment of the companies that comprise CLAUGTO. This assessment was recently completed in the last quarter of 2023 and has allowed us to develop impactful actions and projects to enhance the competitiveness of the automotive industry.
The importance of continuing to support companies in their growth processes, expansions, and, in general, adapting to the external and internal changes they are currently experiencing was discussed.
The risks and threats facing the automotive industry in Mexico were discussed, aiming to continue consolidating operations in Guanajuato. Simultaneously, opportunities and strengths were identified. Through the automotive cluster community, a positive and agile adaptation of the automotive industry to these challenges can be achieved.
One of the significant projects that was discussed is the transformation and electromobility plan for Guanajuato, which is currently yielding important strategic lines and project portfolios to consolidate the industry in terms of energy, human capital development, as well as strategic supply chain lines. These will allow us in the coming months and years to continue supporting our partners and the industry as a whole.
Likewise, each of the committees that CLAUGTO comprises was discussed, along with their main projects for 2024.
Let's continue building a collaborative community #SoyCLAUGTO
