Meeting with the Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development of Guanajuato, Ramón Alfaro Gómez, and his team, including Froylan Salas, Undersecretary for the Development of SMEs, and Marco Morales.

On Wednesday, January 18th, the strategic plan of activities for the Automotive Cluster of Guanajuato was presented, aiming to foster competitiveness for the automotive industry and its supply chain. Relevant topics were addressed, emphasizing that CLAUGTO will be developing around 50 high-impact projects, 24 of which are of a strategic nature. From there, projects were defined that could be jointly promoted with the state government.

Finally, short-term actions were defined along with a general schedule for the main activities of the year. It is important to highlight that jointly, it was agreed to initiate a strategic plan for electromobility in the automotive industry. This plan aims to ensure the sustainability and growth of the industry in the face of upcoming technological changes, as well as to ensure the human talent required for the new industrial profiles.
