As part of the Claugto Accreditation project, the Guanajuato Automotive Cluster will be hosting a series of free webinars, addressing each of the aspects evaluated in the accreditation model.
The Claugto Accreditation is a tool validated by leading companies in the automotive sector, as well as by the Mexican Institute of Standardization and Certification A.C. (IMNC), which allows you to assess the level of professionalism of supplier companies.
Francisco Gutiérrez, CEO of Stratega, delivered the first webinar of this series, focused on the quality management area: "IATF16949:16 and Systematic Approach to Core Tools"
Stratega is a leading consulting firm specializing in Quality Management System standards in Mexico. It is the company responsible for auditing the Claugto model.
To build this model, both entities explored the requirements that OEMs, Tier 1, and Tier 2 companies requested from suppliers to integrate them into their automotive supply chain.
Areas assessed in Claugto Accreditation:
• Quality Management System
• Corporate Culture
• Supplier Management
• Lean Manufacturing
• Costs
• Environmental
• Occupational Health and Safety
• Legal Obligations
• Customer Service
In this first webinar, Francisco focused on addressing the 5 tools that make up the Core Tools:
• Advanced Product Quality Planning and Control Plan (APQP)
• Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
• Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
• Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
There were approximately 120 participants, who were invited to attend the next webinar: "Environmental Management, Decarbonization, and Sustainability in the Automotive Industry," from the environmental area, presented by Luis Alberto Salomón, LAC Energy & Water Efficiency Specialist.
