On September 8th, the press conference for the Automotive Supplier Forum 2022 was held. The event was chaired by Ramón Alfaro Gómez, Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development of the state of Guanajuato; Rolando Alaniz, President of the Automotive Cluster of Guanajuato A.C. (CLAUGTO); Carlos García Villaseñor, Mayor of Silao; Héctor López Santillana, Director of Guanajuato Puerto Interior; Guillermo Romero Pacheco, Director of Economic Reactivation of León; Eduardo Knapp Hernández, General Director of Economic Development of Celaya; Sergio Menchaca Flores, Director of Eko Empaques; and Carlos Almicar Talamantes Aguirre, General Director of Witzenmann.

More details of the 9th edition were announced, with the participation of over 250 buyers and more than 1,000 direct, indirect, and service providers. It was also stated that the Automotive Supplier Forum is one of the best spaces for doing business. Among the activities, there will be business meetings, networking, and a 4.0 pavilion.

As part of the Automotive Supplier Forum experience, the second edition of the CLAUGTO Automotive Congress will be held. It will feature conferences of interest to the industry on topics such as human capital, purchasing, suppliers, asset security, and operational excellence. The keynote address, "Innovation, the key to the future for the industry," will be delivered by Marcus Dantus, a shark on the program Shark Tank. 

The work, effort, and dedication of the CLAUGTO team were recognized, and it is hoped that the tripartite synergy will continue to grow.
