Last Friday, January 27th, the Virtual University of the State of Guanajuato (UVEG) signed a collaboration agreement with the Automotive Cluster of Guanajuato (CLAUGTO). With this, students can now connect their professional practices and train in the industry.
This collaboration agreement will encourage all personnel from different companies that are part of this Cluster to approach the 100% online Educational Model of UVEG, which allows students to attend their work activities and continue with their studies.
UVEG's head, Ricardo Narváez Martínez, acknowledged that their challenge is to respond to the demands of business sectors, and as an educational institution, they must also respond to innovation in order to improve. Innovation is what will make the difference.
Rolando Alaniz Rosales, president of the Automotive Cluster of Guanajuato, commented that we are experiencing a historic moment in terms of digitization and mentioned that this collaboration opportunity will have a strong positive impact on Guanajuato students and their families. Additionally, he stated that the growth of the state of Guanajuato is based and centered on knowledge.
It is worth noting that they also offer courses aimed at strengthening highly competitive profiles through the development of skills in substantial areas for work, and they also have a language center which they offer as part of the collaboration.
The collaboration between UVEG and CLAUGTO will allow for the formation of more competitive professional profiles and open the doors for university students to carry out internships in the industry.
At the signing of the agreement, the head of UVEG, Ricardo Narvaéz Martínez; the president of CLAUGTO, Rolando Alaniz Rosales; the director of CLAUGTO, Alfredo Arzola López; and the academic secretary, Francisco Javier Villarreal Segoviano, were present.
