DENSO aims to achieve carbon neutrality.

DENSO specializes in producing radiators, engine cooling system products, air conditioning units, alternators, and components for the windshield wiper system.

The Silao plant has been in operation since 2013 and has been a member of the Automotive Cluster of Guanajuato for 6 years. The company was founded in 1949 in Carilla, starting as a supplier of electrical parts for Toyota and has now become the second-largest manufacturer of components for the automotive industry.

Currently, DENSO is expanding its product line, including offerings for the agricultural industry. Luis Rodríguez, director of manufacturing at the DENSO Silao plant, mentioned that they allocate a significant amount of resources to research and development, with 10% of their budget dedicated to this area.

The Director also shared that the company has released its vision for 2030, which establishes two main pillars. The first is to contribute to creating a greener world, and the second is to bring peace of mind to people by striving for safer and more convenient mobility for all.

Some measures to contribute to the first pillar involve making their processes and products more efficient to minimize environmental impact. They aim to reduce energy consumption by 3% each year, and in doing so, they can achieve their goal. They also intend to use energy from renewable sources, as the plant aims for zero emissions by 2035.
