Denso inaugurated its third expansion of operations at its plant located in Puerto Interior...

The Japanese-origin company, which manufactures systems and components for automobiles, will invest $9.8 million in expansion. This will enable the creation of over 200 new jobs.
After 26 years in Mexican territory, Denso inaugurated its third expansion at its plant located in Puerto Interior, Silao, on Tuesday, October 25th. This project consisted of 40,262 m2 of construction and a new warehouse of 6,000 m2. These new features will allow for an improvement in production.
As a global company, Denso understands the responsibility that comes with that. That's why they are striving to minimize their environmental impact and are continuously developing their employees to the highest standards. They have a collaboration with an educational institution to ensure better development.
The inauguration was attended by the Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development, Ramón Alfaro, who commented that Denso's plant in Silao has a strategic location for business.
"Guanajuato and Denso share values such as hard work and discipline; we share the DNA of doing things right," said the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, who also presided over the event. He also mentioned that with this third expansion, Denso has invested 118 million dollars in the state.
At the inauguration, Carlos García Villaseñor, Mayor of Silao; Hiromasa Hakamada, President of Denso Mexico; Ramón Alfaro Gómez, Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development; Yoshiki Ishihara, Vice President of Denso Mexico Bajío; Héctor López Santillana, General Director of Guanajuato Puerto Interior; and Felipe Esquivel, Secretary of Relations of the Union of Workers of the Metal, Automotive Mechanical, and Related Industries of Mexico, were present.
