Conclusion of the 2021 Finance Forum: CCPI-CLAUGTO

The "Finance Forum 2021: Towards Business Transformation in the Current Context" came to an end after a week of 7 conferences and 2 panels, featuring presentations from several experts from leading companies.

Following the inauguration, the first conference of the program took place with the presentation "From Entrepreneur to Entrepreneur" by Mauricio Usabiaga, Secretary of the Ministry of Sustainable Economic Development and entrepreneur. During the presentation, he shared business advice and discussed implemented strategies that proved effective in boosting his business both before and during the pandemic.

The next day, Rodrigo Pacheco, a journalist and graduate in International Relations, discussed the impact that financial events in Mexico have on businesses.

From the company Asesores de Consejo y Alta Dirección (ACAD), there were three presentations. Dr. Guillermo Cruz, partner and director, shared with attendees some actions that need to be taken to face and emerge stronger from a crisis; Guillermo Cruz, CEO, explained some of the best evaluation practices, why they are important to conduct, and what should be considered; while Edgar López, partner and director, discussed a series of practices that companies could implement to reduce risks and have better internal control.

In the panel "Best Practices in the Finance Area," with the presentations by Carlos Rivera, Executive Director of EY; Gustavo Méndez, Managing Partner of Deloitte; and Federico Hernández, Managing Partner of KPMG, the topic of organizational restructuring was addressed, particularly how to carry it out, as well as tips and complex HR situations.

The second panel, "Sharing Experiences," featured presentations by Nancy Flores, Finance Director at AMM; Sergio Lara, Finance Director at Yazaki; and César Vega, Finance Manager at Würth Elektronik. As the name suggests, the panel consisted of sharing experiences of successful implementation of financial strategies.

The final conference, "Fuck Up Nights: Experiences of Failure," was led by Daniel Urías, Director and Founder of Cooltura Financiera, who based his presentation on financial advice or tools for better practices, based on his own experiences of failure.

Finally, the forum organized by the College of Public Accountants of Irapuato (CCPI), the Automotive Cluster of Guanajuato (CLAUGTO), and the Ministry of Sustainable Economic Development (SDES) came to a close today with a small closing ceremony where attendees were thanked.
