CLAUGTO and DENSO have joined a project led by the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in partnership with the University of Guanajuato. This initiative offers a Diploma in Spanish and Mexican Culture for diplomatic personnel and embassy attachés from Qatar, Haiti, Georgia, South Africa, Guyana, Serbia, and Lebanon.
During their visit to Guanajuato, the diplomats gained insights into the automotive industry and its significance in the region. In the first segment, Fátima Quiroz from CLAUGTO provided an overview of the origins of the automotive industry in the Bajío region, emphasizing its impact on job creation, GDP contribution, and other key topics.
The visit continued with a tour of DENSO’s facilities, where the diplomats learned about the company’s history, its plants in Mexico, products, values, professional profiles in demand, and future plans. Additionally, DENSO’s commitment to academic institutions for student development was highlighted.
Special thanks were extended to Saúl Díaz, General Manager of DENSO Silao, for his hospitality and the valuable information shared during the guided tour.
