The Business Networking CLAUGTO event and the launch of the Automotive Supplier Forum took place

On April 21st, the second edition of
Business Networking CLAUGTO, with the municipality of Silao as the venue,
this time, it was held in collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Development.
Sustainable, the Municipality of Silao, and Guanajuato Bicentennial Park.

The intention was to provide a space to
foster relationships among key figures in the automotive industry of the State,
with the aim of continuing to create synergies that drive regional development,
opportunities, and benefit supply chains, primarily
small and medium-sized suppliers in Guanajuato.

As part of the program, the conference "Trends
in the automotive industry and its supply chain
" was held,
which was delivered by Mario De La Cruz, president of the CLAUGTO Procurement Committee.

Next, a networking dynamic took place
involving 80 representatives from supplier companies and 12 from
buyer companies, resulting in 6,786 business interactions. This dynamic
involved grouping 6 suppliers with one buyer at a table, where
each participant shared a speech about their brand, and was led by
Enrique Gutiérrez, director of Homolab.

The event continued with the press conference and the launch
of the Automotive Supply Forum, in which Mario de la Cruz,
President of the Purchasing Committee of CLAUGTO; Omar Ascencio, President of the
Subcommittee of Products; Carlos García Villaseñor, Mayor of Silao; and
Mauricio Usabiaga, Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development, and Alfredo Arzola, Director General of CLAUGTO participated.

The Automotive Supply Forum, of which we will have the 9th
edition on September 21 and 22 of this year, will be in person this time.
During the 8 editions we have held, more than 15,000 business connections
have been made, with over $240 million USD in sales and more than 38,750
attendees.

Throughout these editions, we have had the participation of
companies from different countries: Canada, United States, Colombia,
Peru, Brazil, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Austria,
China, Japan, and others.

The forum will feature an exhibition floor, segmented networking sessions, in-person meetings, a 4.0 pavilion, and the CLAUGTO Automotive Congress with keynote speeches, conferences, and workshops, all focused on the themes of CLAUGTO committees: Asset Security, Human Capital, Operational Excellence, Suppliers, and Purchases.

The Automotive Supply Forum has various allies, including: the State Government, through the Ministry of Sustainable Economic Development, the municipality of Silao, the municipality of León, and the Industrial Cluster, as well as Packaging Store as sponsors.

The evening concluded with a cocktail where attendees took advantage of the opportunity to continue creating valuable connections for their supply chains.
