BOS seeks professionalization of its collaborators and relocation of its supply chain.

Bos Automotive is a German automotive company with
locations in North America, Asia, and Europe. The group originated in 1910, but it wasn't until 2006 that they established themselves in Irapuato. In 2007, the company had just over 60 employees, while currently there are more than 1,500, and there are already 3 plants in the region.

Among the product portfolio that the brand offers are armrests, sunshades, nets, sunroofs, injection products, and more.
To produce them and stay at the forefront, the company has a new technology development area located in Michigan, United States.
There, work is carried out on the creation and development of new products.

“One of our main advantages is the diversification of products we have, which helps us cover the range of all automobiles, allowing us to work with different suppliers and clients. Additionally, our people are trained in the various products and services we offer,” shared Kenia Machuca, Human Resources Manager at Bos Automotive.

The manager also mentioned that one of the recent achievements was obtaining the Q1 from Ford, one of their main clients.
This recognition is awarded to suppliers who meet certain standards set by the brand.
To obtain it, a 2-year process was carried out during which all departments of the brand worked multidisciplinarily.

The main objective the brand has for this year is the relocation of suppliers within North America.
The manager explained that the Purchasing department is working on a strategy to find the suppliers they need within the region.

In the Human Resources area, efforts are being made so that employees can work under the 3 x 3 scheme, meaning that each production line collaborator can perform 3 different tasks within the process.

As part of the HR programs, they have a training center where staff can be trained before being on the "floor", allowing for greater integration. Additionally, they become familiar with the processes, products, and can analyze their skills and preferences. It's a dedicated space for learning.
