At a successful meeting held on May 24th, the General Assembly of Associates of the Automotive Cluster of Guanajuato took place, where leaders from over 180 Tier 1, 2, and 3 companies, OEMs, SME suppliers, academic institutions, and allies had the opportunity to establish links and strengthen networking relationships for the benefit of the automotive industry.
The "Annual Associates Meeting 2023" is held each year to address topics of common interest for the industry in the region. As part of the meeting agenda, Tico Pérezgrovas gave a lecture titled "New Results? A New Leadership," where he discussed the realities many companies face and how they can confront these situations from a humanistic perspective.
Additionally, the board of directors, composed of prominent representatives from the companies that make up CLAUGTO, approved a series of projects and strategic measures to be implemented in the coming months leading up to 2024. These initiatives aim to primarily boost the development and competitiveness of the automotive sector in the region.
Among the notable projects announced during the assembly is the CLAUGTO Development Center. This center will provide a collaborative space where key stakeholders in the sector can share ideas, drive research and development, and foster the creation of cutting-edge technological solutions that benefit the entire automotive industry.
Additionally, during the meeting, information was provided about the launch of a new committee called "ASG" (Environmental, Social, and Governance). The establishment of this committee reinforces CLAUGTO's commitment to maintaining high standards for the benefit of its members and the automotive sector as a whole.
During the assembly, emphasis was placed on the importance of collaboration and joint work among cluster companies to drive economic growth and job creation in the region. Likewise, the key role played by CLAUGTO as a facilitator of strategic alliances, promoter of innovation, and driver of development for sector companies was highlighted. The outgoing Board of Directors for the 2022 period was announced, and a welcome was extended to the new Board of Directors for 2022-2023, which is chaired by:

In his closing speech, Rolando Alaniz, President of CLAUGTO, thanked all the associates for their active participation and commitment to the cluster's common goals. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining constant and constructive dialogue among members, as well as leveraging networking opportunities to strengthen collaboration and exchange experiences.
The Annual Assembly of Associates of the Automotive Cluster of Guanajuato concluded with an atmosphere of enthusiasm and optimism, reflecting confidence in the future of the automotive sector in the region and the commitment of member companies to continue working together to achieve shared success.
