Innovation is a constant in the company. Iván Zaldívar, responsible for Human Resources at ArcelorMittal Mexico, commented that their products can be found in various models considered modern, such as electric cars.

He explained that, as the head of Human Resources, his main responsibility is to ensure labor peace and retain and motivate the talent of the company, acting as a strategic partner for all areas of the company, serving as a service and support area for consultancy to achieve the objectives.
"I am very satisfied because there are several companies where innovation only occurs in productive areas, projects, etc., however, we demonstrate that innovation can also happen in Human Resources," he commented, noting that the department had around 100 innovation ideas and highlighted the "Godfather or Godmother" project in which a person with a certain seniority in the company was linked to a newcomer to help them adapt.
The objective of the initiative is to make the newcomer feel more secure and have a better integration experience, as they have someone they can consult with quickly, thus creating a close bond. Additionally, he mentioned that one of the aspects that promote the development of companies is maintaining an open work environment where new ideas are listened to, analyzed, and rewarded.
They obtained a certification from the Government of Guanajuato, which is awarded annually to companies considered socially and labor responsible.
