On Thursday, November 14, the 4th plenary session of the CLAUGTO Purchasing Committee was held.

During the session, members of the Purchasing Council shared their 2024 achievements in collaboration with the CLAUGTO Purchasing Committee. Discussions included events such as the Supplier’s Day at Timken, the Buyer’s Day , which brought together over 100 buyers, and the BNC'S (Business Networking CLAUGTO), fostering interactions between buyers and suppliers.

The committee also reviewed the year’s training programs, including Karrass 1 and 2, and noted the upcoming Supplier Development Training, scheduled to take place at our facilities on December 4 and 5. In project highlights, we recognized at AFIMAQ and LR Soluciones Industriales as winners of the 2024 Supplier Award. This recognition was based on evaluations and nominations by buyers, showcasing suppliers who excel in categories such as quality, service, and more. 

Later in the session, the SAPIX team shared new perspectives on cost analysis within Purchasing Departments. They introduced the SCOR model, explored innovative approaches to expense analysis, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and Just-In-Time management. These topics provided valuable insights and support for the industry.
